Markets are public. Your portfolio shouldn't be. Shield Swap protects your identity and trading strategies.
Addresses, balances, trades, and timing publish to the ledger in real time, and onchain analytics have matured to the point where clustering turns those addresses into a live map of your activity. Once the map exists, your strategy gets reverse-engineered, your positions get indexed, and the market prices your next move off your visible portfolio.
A compliance record is created with every swap and LP position. It stays encrypted and secure, and supports sanctions screening and compliance requests.
Pairs, amounts, prices, and depth are all on the ledger.
Pool reserves and price discovery work the way your quants expect.
Your identity, your addresses, and the links between your trades stay off the public ledger.
The ledger never ties one trade to another or maps them back to your wallets.
Your balances live in records encrypted to your keys.
Your full portfolio stays confidential, and no owner is revealed onchain.
Shield Swap is a confidential trading platform built on Aleo. It lets users trade digital assets while protecting their identity, portfolio, and trading strategies. Liquidity, prices, amounts, and routes remain observable, while ownership, balances, and account histories stay confidential. Start trading today.
Shield Swap does not currently offer a standalone iOS or Android app. You can access Shield Swap through the web application using Shield Wallet.
You can bridge USDC into Shield Wallet using the USDCx Bridge by Circle, or bridge ETH, wBTC, or SOL using Hyperlane Nexus. For step-by-step instructions, visit the Shield Swap funding page.
Shield Swap uses transaction proofs, enforced price limits, minimum-output protections, deadlines, and verifiable market state to protect execution. Never share your seed phrase, and only use verified Shield Swap domains. Review the risk disclosures before trading.
Shield Swap currently covers all Aleo transaction fees, so you do not pay network fees when swapping or claiming your assets. You only pay the liquidity-provider fee, which is included in the quote before you approve the swap.
Shield Swap is built for the Aleo Network. Assets bridged from other ecosystems must arrive in Shield Wallet on Aleo before they can be traded. Shield Swap supports trading on Aleo mainnet, with Aleo testnet available for testing. Support for additional assets will be added over time.
A swap may fail if your wallet has insufficient funds, the selected asset or pool is unavailable, liquidity has changed, the quote has expired, your price or minimum-output limit cannot be met, or the network is delayed. Refresh the quote, confirm your wallet balance and network, and review the error shown before trying again. If the issue continues, visit support.shield.app for help.
First, check the transaction status in Shield Wallet or the Aleo Explorer. If a transaction ID exists, wait for it to be accepted or rejected before submitting another transaction. If the swap was accepted but the output has not appeared, the claim step may still need to be completed. Open the Positions page and check for a pending claim. If the issue continues, contact Support with the transaction ID. Never share your private key, seed phrase, view key, or wallet recovery information.
